Peer assessment.

P2 Learners choose one media product that is produced
by the institution they have investigated, and analyse its:
a) purpose
b) genre
c) form
d) style
e) content
f ) meaning
g) production process
I think that Andre has met the
pass criteria as he has analysed the film and has talked about each of the
topics in brief. This is shown through the subheadings.
M1 Learners use correct media terminology in their analysis. They
demonstrate a good understanding of the conventions of the media product’s
genre, and their understanding is supported by examples within the chosen media
product
I think that Andre has met part
of the merit criteria as he has talked about each of the sections with
references to theory such as Stuart Hall, Kate Domaille. I think that he could
though add more to the form as in, when it was distributed (worldwide?)
D1 Learners’ analysis shows a thorough
understanding of the relationship between purpose, form, content and meaning
within the intentions of the chosen media product
There are parts of Andre’s
script that I think has the distinction such as the purpose, and production
process that is sectioned throughout. Also the camerawork is at a distinction
as it is detailed but you need to add time code so that you will know for
future reference when making the vlog you know which clip to use.
